Sesi Libat Urus PETRA Bersama Media 2025

The Sesi Libat Urus Kementerian Peralihan Tenaga dan Transformasi Air (PETRA) Bersama Media 2025 Sabahc was successfully held in Le Meridien Hotel Kota Kinabalu, bringing together government leaders and media representatives in a meaningful and engaging dialogue. The event was officiated by YAB Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of PETRA, highlighting the ministry’s commitment to fostering transparency, collaboration, and public engagement through media channels.

As a newly established ministry, PETRA—short for Kementerian Peralihan Tenaga dan Transformasi Air—plays a pivotal role in spearheading Malaysia’s energy transition, water resource transformation, and sustainability efforts. Its core mission is to ensure secure, sustainable, and equitable access to clean energy and water for all Malaysians, while aligning with the nation’s net-zero goals and circular economy aspirations.

The 2025 media engagement session in Sabah was designed not only as a platform for information sharing but also as a relaxed, interactive evening to appreciate the role of the media in shaping public discourse. With thoughtful planning and arrangement , the event featured a lively and welcoming atmosphere—blending formality with fun.

Guests were treated to a creative mirror dance opening performance, followed by vibrant Sabahan traditional cultural dances – Magunatip Dance that celebrated the state’s rich heritage. The evening then transitioned into a chill karaoke session, giving media personnel a chance to unwind, sing, and connect on a more personal level with PETRA representatives and each other.

This initiative reflects PETRA’s forward-thinking approach to stakeholder engagement—moving beyond just speeches and press releases. We as the trusted event company from Kota Kinabalu behind the production ensured the setup was both professional and people-centric, complete with ambient lighting, multimedia visuals, and seamless coordination that allowed everyone to focus on meaningful interaction.

In line with the ministry’s vision, this event served as a reminder that dialogue, community, and shared experiences are key ingredients in building trust and accelerating national transformation.
